Mastering the Basics of Charcoal

Build your confidence in sketching and charcoal using a wide range of methods and approaches during this 8 week workshop. Master charcoal artist, Johnny Clark, will de-mystify the tools, papers, and approaches used by some of the charcoal masters. This workshop will cover a variety of fun subjects using both graphite and charcoal and will help you in finishing a final project of your choice.

This 8 week workshop will be held on Monday nights from 6:00pm - 8:30pm starting August 26th and ending on October 28th. Please note: this workshop will not be held on September 2nd or October 7th.

All attendees are responsible for bringing their own supplies for personal use at the workshop. EACH STUDENT will need a large board to tape their charcoal paper to along with masking tap and these charcoal supplies suggested list of supplies.
